Western Chili Casserole

Western Chili Casserole – Yield 6-8

1 lb ground beef
1 lg onion, chopped
1/2 c celery, chopped
1 1/4 c cheddar cheese, shredded
1 15oz can Mexican chili beans
1/2 t seasoned salt
1/2 t chili powder
2 c crushed corn chips or fritos
1 c sour cream

Brown meat in a skillet and drain excess fat if necessary.  Add onion and celery and cook until tender.  Add beans and seasonings.  In a 2 quart casserole, place a layer of chips in the bottom.  Place a layer of meat and cheese on top.  Repeat layers until done finishing with cheese.  Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.  Dollop top with sour cream and serve.
